Leave room
When you move out, leave your room empty (without holes, screws and nails in the wall) and clean. Should the new tenant report within 5 working days that something is not according to the delivery standards ( annex 2 rental conditions) is completed, then the complex manager will determine whether repair or cleaning work still needs to be carried out. The cost of repairing or replacing parts will be passed on to you.
Control room
All furnished rooms will be checked by Idealis. The same applies to rooms without inventory in the following complexes: Asserpark, Hoevestein, Dijkgraaf, Marijkeweg and Haarweg. The caretaker will check your room once you have handed in the key. Did your contract start after 1 March 2021? Then a pre-check will also take place. The caretaker will make an appointment with you for this.
Unfurnished room
If you leave your room, you may leave the curtains and floor if you feel they are still in good condition. Please note that this is at your own risk. If the next occupant does not want the curtains and/or floor, they will be removed at your expense.
Note: do you live on Hoevestein, Marijkeweg, Nude Street or Old Eekmolenweg and if there is fabric carpet or laminate in your room, you should remove it, including any glue residue, before leaving your room. The flooring/laminate cannot be taken over by the new occupant.
Furnished room
You are not supposed to paint the walls of a furnished room. If you do, it will be repaired and the costs will be your responsibility. Make sure that all furniture that belongs to Idealis stays in the room when you leave.
Flat
Do you live in 1 of the flats at Rijnveste? If so, would you like to make an appointment with the complex manager for a preliminary inspection of your home? They will then check which repairs still need to be carried out. You can find the exact completion standards in the rental conditions.
Should repairs be necessary, you can carry them out yourself before the final inspection. The costs are at your own expense.

If you don't want to move your own (good) furniture/utensils with you, you can bring them to the Kringloop:
